

Ballet school “Princess Ksenija” Montenegro
As a preparation for the founding of the school, Studio for Fine Arts was opened in January 2000 in city of Bar.
In the fall of 2004, following the procedure prescribed by the Montenegro’s Ministry of Education, the Ballet School “Princess Ksenija” for Basic Ballet Education was established, based in Bar.
In 2007, a Regional Institution was established in city of Podgorica.
In 2008, the school introduced a High school education program named Ballet Dancer.
Professors, choreographers, who are part of the school reality and the curriculum, the first parts of the performing practice, came from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, UK, and USA.
In 2018 school established cooperation with Beijing Dance Academy.
The general Agenda of the school has three directions:
- Educational process
- Affirmation of the classic ballet art / big productions of the classical ballet inheritance on the Big stage in the National Theatre ( “Nutcracker”, “Paquita”, “Chipollino”, “La fille mal gardee”, “Cinderella”, “Le corsaire”)
- Helping in continuation of education for young teachers
Patron of the school gave support in terms of space in city of Bar and Podgorica.
The school also participated in numerous national festivities, celebrations and numerous humanitarian activities.
The School started its international presentation in 2004:
France, Bulgaria, Italy, Croatia, Ukraine, Germany, Serbia, Austria, China.
The school is a member of the Children’s League of Nations and a member of CEEC Dance Union 17+ 1.
