The Dance Academy Kuching

In the  past 41 years (1983-2024), the dance academy participated in countless stage  performances, large and small; In 1996, the Quansha Girls Tour marked the beginning of the Chinese Dance performance. The dance academy has led the troupe to perform in many countries including Malaysia, Singapore, China, the  Philippines, Indonesia,Japan,South Korea, Thailand, Australia, and the United  States, and  cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Taiwan, Macao, Hong  Kong, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, as well as the United States Disneyland and so on. The dance academy has been invited to participate  in many summer and winter dance camps organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the  State Council.In 1986, the Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Graded Examination Courses were   introduced by Mr.Zheng  Fanglin in Singapore. In  1992, the dance academy visited the  Beijing  Dance  Academy to look for teaching materials and study the Chinese Dance Graded Examination with Professor Sun Guangyan. In 1998,a cooperation agreement was formally signed with Beijing Dance Academy.The first Kuching International Dance Festival was held in 2007(followed by festivals in 2010,2015,  2019,2022,2023).Since 2018, the dance academy has been participating in Beijing Dance Academy’s  Belt &Road Traditional Ethnic Dance Performance(until 2023).In 2021,a certificate of honor was presented by Beijing Dance Academy.In 2021, the yearly National Chinese Dance Competition was held  (later  in  2022,2023,2024).
