LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore

LASALLE College of the Arts is the highest-ranked specialist arts institution in Southeast Asia for performing arts and joint top for art and design (QS World UniversityRanking by Subject 2024) and is a founding member of the University of the Arts Singapore.

Founded in 1984 by the late De La Salle Brother JosephMcNally, the College now offers 35 Diploma, BA (Hons)and postgraduate programmes in fine arts, design communication, interior design, product design, dance, music and theatre, etc.

The dynamic and intimate Dance Programmes are situated within The School of Dance & Theatre which also offers BA(Hons) programmes for Acting and Musical Theatre, as well as Diplomas in Performance and Theatre production and Management. The programmes’ performance and production practice occur in three purpose-built industry-standard theatre venues, multiple studios and workshops.All the programmes focus on under-standing the self and the world through the transformative development of skills, techniques, reflection and perspectives. Resilience, empathy and emotional growth are at the heart of their work.
